Akintunde Oyebode is the Honourable Commissioner for Finance for Ekiti State and also chairs the Forum of Finance Commissioners of Nigeria. In his current role, he is involved in state fiscal policy, budgeting, revenue mobilisation, and financial oversight, areas that are critical for creating enabling environments for private sector growth, infrastructure investment, and employment opportunities across the state.
Before taking on the finance commissionership, Oyebode has served in various public sector and advisory capacities, combining expertise in public finance and governance. (Less public documentation is available on his prior roles.) His work now seeks to connect state-level fiscal reforms with broader regional strategies for job creation, economic development, and private sector mobilization.
